Philips hts 8100 Review

Before i begin the Philips hts 8100 is by far the best soundbar on the market in that price range. This soundbar in terms of quality and functionality is on par with the leading soundbars in the market.

In the past, you need several speakers just to create the illusion that the sound is coming from all the corners of the room.  Yes, the sound is really amazing however think of all the wires connecting the speakers and not to mention that the amount of space that it eats up.  Is it worth it?

Back then, it probably was because people really did not have much of a choice.  Hence, they did what they could with the wires and they bought the product even though it is quite expensive.  Today, however, people already have a choice and if you are smart, you will go for the choice that requires limited wires and less the cost of the first option.

The answer to all the space and wire problem is found in this term – sound bar.  Sound bars such as the Philips hts 8100 is becoming the popular choice for surround sound system.

Sound bars are becoming very attractive because they are pretty affordable but they produce the same quality of sound as those sound systems that have several speakers.  They are practically wireless too which makes display much easier and your room look much neater.  Why go for the bulk of traditional surround sound systems and take up space when all you need is in a sound bar, a prime example of which is the Philips hts 8100.

The Philips hts 8100 also comes with a radio tuner.  There is something about listening to the radio that even though iPods have been around for some time, they cannot totally eliminate the market that listens to the radio.  If you are one of them “radio fans”, then you will be happy to know that the Philips hls 8100 comes with an FM radio tuner.

Of course, you cannot doubt that the Philips hts 8100 produces superb sound quality.  It is after all, a Philips and the company has been in the sound industry for a long time now.  It is a trusted brand in terms of their products’ performance as well as the its overall quality.
